Top Menu Items are not Updated even after clearing the Cache

Hi,

I updated a subcategory as a main category by
1- changing Parent category to None https://imgur.com/a/ykVG9PG
2- cleared the cache on that category, on the former parent category, on tasks page

I also wanted to make the previously top menu item invisible by unticking "Include in top menu".

However now the category is removed as subcategory but not shown as a main category, also the unticked category remains in the top menu.

What else should I do to make sure the changes are reflected?

Try:  In any admin page in top right corner, click the gear icon, and choose Clear Cache

Actually as I wrote in the initial post, I did that in the category page but it did not help

Resolved.

FYI; apparently this was due to Mega Menu plugin that is used to customize the menu.
