Next Release

Is there a date planned / feature list available for the next planned release?

There have been a number of feature requests (e.g. paging, better image resizing etc.) / code suggestions. since 1.10 that I would ideally want before releasing a site.

The main problem we had from 1.05 to 1.10 was that there was no upgrade path. I we can get a development roadmap together (i know you are working on this at the moment) it would be great to get the project to a point where we can just *patch* our live installations for any code fixes / feature additions.

It would also mean that patches can be released more frequently - perhaps even through an online update system. It would be brilliant to be able to log into the Admin gui and patch direct from there (presuming most of the patches will be the copying/replacing of files or execution of sql scripts against the db)

The next version will be available in three-four months. The main reasons are:

1. We want to build really great application, the best ASP.NET e-commerce solution! Almost all features from Roadmap will be implemented.
2. We have plans to rewrite/redesign nopCommerce.com, make it more friendly for contributions.
3. Upgrade/migration scripts will be available.
4. Beta versions will be available to community.
5. We think about creating international nopCommerce team.
