Reliable Hosting

I'm hoping you guys can help and point me to some reliable hosting for NopCommerce.

My current host has absolutely terrible uptime and I need help getting away ASAP.
This would include migrating my live e-commerce site over.

Let me know who you've found that has proven extremely reliable.

For nopCommerce we have previously used SmarterAsp.net and they are good. We are currently using A2Hosting and they have very good performance for Turbo plans.

I definitely recommend PeoplesHost because the pricing is good and their service is excellent. We have been with them for over 2 years hosting over 40 sites and are extremely happy. They not only have very fast response times (less than an hour if not minutes) for our service requests, but also continuously monitor our sites and inform us of possible problems. They include daily backups. Additionally they have free Install & Setup or free migration from your previous hosting provider

We also recommend www.smarterasp.net for nopCommerce hosting.

NOP is sort of resource heavy. What is the recommended memory requirement? I understand it is dependent on the user, but, say for a modest use website?

Is shared hosting OK?

I think basic stores with not "heavy" plugins from Nop-Templates and alike like Tags and Ribbons, Ajax Filters, etc. may run in PeoplesHost shared hosting with 500mb. If you have "heavy" plugins you might want 750mb.  

Phone them and they are very helpful, flexible and quick to respond.

Yes, I already tried A2 Hosting many times in various datacenters and the uptime was terrible.
Most recently the Amsterdam DC was down for an entire weekend. Also, when you request chat support, there is usually 40 ahead of you in the queue.
