Export images along with products

Hi!  If this has been answered, please forgive me for re-asking.  I couldn't find the answer.

When exporting product data, is there a way to also export images at the same time?  As it is now, we will need to manually grab images after exporting to Excel.  My coworker needs to move about 50 new products from our dev site to our live site and she understandably does not want to re-enter all of the data.

If I've missed something, please feel free to share.  Thanks!

When you export the file it has a column for the picture1, picture2, picture3 and the location\name
You need to have the images in the location with the correct name and the webserver has access to them then it will import the images

So simple.  Thanks!

By the way, I notice that the image metadata -- such as alt and title -- do not make it over with this export/import.  Is there a slick way include that?

By the way, I'm exporting from nopCommerce 3.6 and importing to 4.0.

Seems those properties are not in the export
You would need a customisation to include them

Depending on your server config:
I use Microsoft Access linked to the SQL Database to do quick data maintenance
Another option is to use SQL Server Management Studio -> Tasks -> Generate Scripts export the picture table as a script file which can be run on the new database

i believe other people or shops also need this function, why not build a plugin for it?

You can also check out NopAdmin for data import / export. :)

Definitely interested!  I just wanted to see if something already exists before I start working on it.
