Pressing enter after entering search criteria in Admin/Order/List downloads an XML file

I added a custom search field (admin/order/list) and noticed that if the focus is not on the "Search" button after entering a filter and pressing Enter, an XML file "orders.xml" is downloaded and the search is not run. How can I circumvent this issue? I foresee this as being a mild annoyance for any admins using the search feature on our site.

It appears that I can only replicate this behavior locally. When testing from the server, hitting Enter runs the search as expected. Interesting. (Nop 3.8)
