Help in upgrading from 1.6 to 1.8

Hi

Can some one guide me with step by step instruction on upgrading from nopCommerce 1.6 to 1.8, my site hosted online, so i would instructions for upgrading directly on the web server.

Let me explain you few steps also if you don't understand after watching video:

1) Take a backup of your existing database and complete website

2) Make sure you save backup of your connection string file

3) delete the existing files of nopCommerceStore folder

4) Download the higher version of nopCommerce

5) extract the files from nopCommerceStore to your hosting server

6) Run yourwebsite/install/install.aspx and follow the steps

Note: I think you can upgrade directly from 1.6 to 1.8 as 1.8version includes the upgrade script of 1.6 also BUT i will recommend you to go step by step  :

1st ->  Go 1.6 to 1.7

2nd) -> Go 1.7 to 1.8

one more quick question.. is nopcommerece 1.8 build on .net 4.0 or 3.5?

o that's bad and it means you can't upgrade to higher version..

you are with which hosting company ?

Any good one you suggest?, because i am planning for serious buisness and dont want future issues...
