True Gift Registry

Super open-source ecommerce app.  The wish list functionality leaves a wee bit to be desired but is a starting point for a Gift Registry.  Would be keen on seeing a true gift registry with the following criteria:

1.  Customers or Admins can build registry
2.  Qty of item requested and qty received recorded in registry table (for update when stores have online and brick-n-mortar presence)
3.  Registry items table updates qty received only on status change of order to completed/shipped
4.  items cannot be purchased if/when qty received exceeds qty requested.
5.  Couple of extra fields in registries table:  kind of event (text), date of event (short date).  This registry table will have a relationship with the customer table.  
6.  The registry items table should be editable for such things as a product price override or a change in the description of the product.  Of course, we'd need an options field.
7.  And then there's the need for the order to express that the order is against a specific registry (by registrants name so that it has meaning to the customer) and to the Admin pulling the order.

I have a real gift registry plugin already working for 3.60, 3,70 and 3.80.

additional to traditional gift registry options , plugin also supports a split function. Gift registry owners can split expensive items and customers can purchase as much as piece they can afford.
