In the message template edit page, next to the text "Allowed message tokens" is a "Show" link.  Click that to see allowed message tokens.  There are no Vendor related tokens.   Note that each product in the cart could have a different vendor, so if it would be supported, it would have to be at the line level.
It requires customization.
