Hello, i have problem with limited per store on products. For some reason it doesn't work, plgins, topics and other things work. I checked table in database and everything is ok in it. So that leave question what could happen that could cause this issue, i should also mark that it was recently moved from one server to another, but in past i didn't have problems when moving from one server to another.
Thanks in advance, cheers!

Hello,

There is a setting in Administration -> Configuration -> Setting -> Catalog Settings called Ignore "limit per store" rules (sitewide). You cannot limit products per store if this setting is checked.

Hope this helps!

Having the same problem, and all I've found is your answer repeatedly told by you and others. As for the topic owner, it's NOT the case for me too. Is there another real answer to this issue?

So to confirm you have made the above Setting
You have 2 stores with different store names and store URL's
Store1 is store1.yourdomain.com and
Store2 is store2.yourdomain.com
You have one product Product1 that is "Limited by Store" to Store1
and another product Product2 that is "Limited by Store" to Store2

So then everything should work
Product1 only viewable on Store1
Product2 only viewable on Store2

What version are you using ?

Yes,

But no, it's not working: I cannot see Product1 or Product2 on any of the stores.

BTW, I can only see a product whether if it's mapped to the MAIN store (in this case, doesn't matter if mapped to other stores) or not mapped at all.

I have the MAIN store on yourdomain.com, and the rest on subdomains such as store1.yourdomain.com, store2.yourdomain.com, etc.

I just went through and setup a configuration on my v4.1 Test Site
Have a look at
http://test.selectsystems.com.au/ which shows no products
http://test1.selectsystems.com.au/ which shows Test Product 1
http://test2.selectsystems.com.au/ which shows Test Product 2
Both product Test 1 and Test 2 are in the Test category which is not Limited to any Store

Not sure what can be going wrong with your site ?
Is it standard configuration or have you made modifications / added plugins ?

Do I have to know something more than the configs described here?

I think we have done some modifications, but I'm not sure what. And yes, we have added plugins, mostly the standard popular ones.

No there is nothing else I have done.
Ignore "limit per store" rules (sitewide) is not ticked
Define the URL's in the DNS so that they go to the same website host
Setup / Config the stores with the URL's
Limit the Products to the Stores

The only other thing I can suggest is if you are using Plugins that are not part of the nopCommerce Install then temporariliy deinstall them.
If you are using a theme temporariliy set it back to Default clean
If these are causing the problem you can narrow it down to the issue

Are you using Source Version or No Source ?
