Language translation empty value

Is it possible to have an empty translation value for a Resource name?
When a translation is empty the value will is not saved. We need a couple translations to be empty or blank. I believe when there is no value, the resource name is displayed. We just need nothing to be displayed.

Now it's not possible, but you are right we should allow saving empty values to hide some text. Here is a work item for this.

There are two possible hacks that may work for you:
1) enter the non-breaking space character (ASCII 160) by press and hold down ALT key while typing the character code 1 6 0 on the numeric keypad.
