Challenge

LAPP, d.o.o., the Slovenian arm of the global LAPP company, faced a significant challenge in keeping up with the dynamic market demands. In 2017, during the LAPP Digital Days, the need for an online shop arose to cater to customers without an active relationship, providing them with 24-hour access to prices and stock levels. The primary hurdle was the integration of a global solution, My LAPP, based on the SAP ERP system, in all company offices, including Slovenia. However, this was unfeasible for LAPP Slovenia due to their reliance on the PANTHEON business software.

Solution

Seeking a comparable local solution, LAPP, Ltd. collaborated with the Stroka Business Group in Slovenia to develop an integrated webshop solution. The goal was to create a user-friendly platform, and due to staffing constraints, a solution that minimized manual work in terms of entering prices, importing images, and adding descriptions. After careful consideration, NopCommerce emerged as the optimal and cost-effective choice, offering the best value for money and seamless integration with the PANTHEON ERP system.

The implementation included a comprehensive sales program integration with the supplier, an item calculator for pricing, and integrated supplier stocks. The Stroka Business Group's knowledge of LAPP's business and PANTHEON software played a crucial role in streamlining the process, making NopCommerce the preferred solution for their diverse needs.

Result

The integration of the online shop with NopCommerce proved to be a resounding success for LAPP, d.o.o.
