Customer configurator - How to "Add to cart"?

Hi all,

I want to create a custom configurator for several specific products. These configurators have specific user interfaces, perhaps javascript/jquery or Flash, so adding attributes alone is not enough. Creating it is not the problem, but what would be the most advisable way to integrate it into nopCommerce?

I guess all I need to know is:
1.) where can I put the placeholder (.ascx control) and how do I render it for a specific product (seperate page?);
2.) how can I submit the result to the shopping cart;
