Ok I think I figured it out correct me if I'm wrong.. This might help some people.
First You need a Paypal account.
If you want to use Paypal Direct you will need to sign up for Payments Pro on Paypal.

The setting up Paypal Direct will allow you to process creditcards from your website.
And the credit card option will show up during check out.
You can use Paypal express with this method because Paypal express takes the customer to Paypal to finish the transaction. Paypal express lets customers with a Paypal account to login and pay that way.
The Paypal standard also take customers to Paypal finish their payment but customer wont need to have a Paypal
account to finish the transaction. Customer just enters in their credit card info.
Also with Paypal standard if customer does have a Paypal account they have the option to login and Pay using Paypal
That is why it is not needed to use Paypal Express when using Paypal standard They Both take you to Paypal.

I hope this helps anyone out there understand it all a little better. If this info was up it sure would have helped me... LOL unless it is up in another post and I was to much in a rush to find it, I had to learn the hard way.
