Visa error transaction with PayPal Direct method

Hi

Trying to pay a ca with a VISA

I use "Payments.PayPalDirect" with a right PayPal account

I've this error message :

Payment error: LongMessage: The merchant country is not supported. ShortMessage: Merchant country unsupported. ErrorCode: 10565

What does this message mean please ?

- 1 - Visa card is unavailable (date or useful) ?
- 2 - Wrong country tu use paypal card method ?
- 3 - A bug ?
- 4 - Wrong setting ?

What could I try to solve this issue please?

I notice that following in my first investigation :

"Direct Payment using a “Paypal Website Payments Pro” account is not supported in countries other than the US, UK and Canada. If this is true, you may have to switch to an ordinary Paypal tool."

It seems I've no solution for payment direct with Visa or Mastercard here in France by PayPal.
The fix is for PayPal Standard I've already on my website Store-Us.


What other free way could I have to offer direct credit card payment to my customers without be redirected in PayPal site?
