Is it possible for a plugin to add functionality (and buttons) to Admin Order List/Details Screens

I have created functionality to allow address labels to be printed from the Order List and Order Details Admin screens. However, I modified the core code and it is a pain to incorporate with every upgrade. Is it possible to develop a plugin that would add a button (for example, next to Print PDF Invoices on the List page) to those screens and allow me to invoke some Javascript?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I hope nopCommerce 'Print Packaging Slip' functionality in shipment details page will help to print the shipping slips.

It is also possible to extend the admin functionality by using plugin with the help of Action filters and Jqury.
