Import multi lingual product decsriptions is it possible?

we have thousands of products.
Our main website is in english but we would like to also offer customers the chance to view in french / spanish /other language options etc. is it possible to import the product descriptions in multiple languages?
we have too many products to do this manually.
maybe there is a plug in that can be bought ?
