ERROR - Setup failed: Sequence contains more than one element

I am a new one in nopcommerce and trying to run our nop commerce websites solution using existing DB.
As a result, I see NopCommerce installation screen and getting this error: "Setup failed: Sequence contains more than one element".

I 'd like to have more details. What's wrong?

Hi,

This is an SQL server error and if you search on nopCommerce forum, you will see plenty of topics about this.

You just need to skip installation part and place hardcoded database connection file in project.

Problem solved) thx for your time. I just removed my old Settings.txt and created a new one with the same connection string. now everything is fine.

Check whether your Preferred domain is including www or not. change it to non www and reinstall  it will work in some cases.
