Google Analytics integration

I read from another topic that all you have to do to integrade google analytics is to
insert the generated script(of google) into the main.master page.

My main.master is located in the Administration folder.

If i put the script there i will be seeing the analytics results of the administration page right?

Where do i have to put the script?

Place it into MasterPages\Root.Master

Can we put the codes through the admin? Where would I locate that file or directory through the adminstration? Thanks
