1.80 on GoDaddy - faster?

Sorry, if it is a lame question...

I'm very happy with my 1.60 version on GoDaddy. My only concern is that it works really slow. I'm switching to .NET 4.0 right now, just out of curiosity.

So, can anybody who is on GoDaddy and updated to 1.80 tell me if it is going to be significantly faster?

there have been a few posts about 1.7 and 1.8  being slower than 1.6 anyway


actually, if its just a standard install, v1.6 should not be slow ( unless you have a lot of products), must be down to your hosting - i suggest you get in touch with go daddy and ask them if there is a problem

If you're in US then arvixe is very fast there. Not so fast in europe
