All Parent Categories Page

Hi all,
I'd like to create a page, similar to Category page, to display all the level 1 categories.

I'd like to keep the category list navigation menu visible, and also show a list of links of the parent product categories.
Is this possible? Can you help me build it?

I'd be very interested in this too. Any suggestions? I don't want them all on the home page so a seperate page would be great.

you could create a new aspx page and put the module

HomePageCategories.ascx

into it - then remove it from default.aspx
