Error when exporting to Excel on Win2008 x64
The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine

How do I fix this?

-----
При попытке сделать экспорт в excel на windows 2008 x64 возникает ошибка
The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local machine

Как это исправить?
поможет ли перевод сервера IIS в 32 разрядный рабочий режим, не помешает ли это другим приложениям?

I am a bit foggy but try, Excel and change macro security setting to low, that might be it.

Sorry I had a confliguration on that issue:

Here is the answer:

In the IIS(7), search for the application pool that supports your Web Application rigth click on it and select the option "Set Application Pool Defaults"...then find the Option Generals->Enable 32-bit Applications set it to true.

This is due to the fact that there is no 64 bit driver available.

Just came across this issue also on my lazy test bed (Windows 7 64-bit) and this sorted it for me too, thanks! :)

I get the same error on Win2003 virtual server which is running IIS6 and so doesn't have this option. Has anyone been able to fix this on win 2k3 x64?

Thanks,

Since there is no 64 bit driver for 2008, I don't think there would be one for 2K3. maybe try upgrading your IIS to 7 or 7.5 first and then you may see the the above menu to follow.
