mailchimp default list is blank

Hi,  
Im already added the plugin (v3.4) for mailchimp (copy paste the Misc.MailChimp in to plugins)
I insert the API Key fine and i click the save button
AutoSync task is cheked (or not)
AutoSync period is 60
WebHooks... is blank...

The MailChimp List  is the problem! its blank too. it is not working! its always blank...as i undertand from the nop forum this must be automatic.... list should be recognised... after the API insert...

Then when i manually synchronize nopCommerce newsletter subscribers with MailChimp database i have this error:

System.ArgumentException: MailChimp list is not specified at Nop.Plugin.Misc.MailChimp.Services.MailChimpApiService.BatchSubscribe(IEnumerable`1 recordList) at Nop.Plugin.Misc.MailChimp.Services.MailChimpApiService.Synchronize() at Nop.Plugin.Misc.MailChimp.Controllers.SettingsController.Sync()


Someone knows why a i have this error? or what to do??

I'm having the same issue with (v3.5) the default list is not populating when I enter the MailChimp API Key.

Same here. I'll post if I find out whats going on.

I went through and figured out how to configure Webhooks. That is complete but I still have a blank list drop-down. API is correct, its just not pulling the information across. I'm at a loss.

groundzero2010 i saw your posts, thanks for the interesting! I have tried many ways through forums for this blank list.... but nothing.... anyway... im waiting for 3.6 release and then i will upgrade. Maybe its a solution... i dont know what else to say... i will tell if it is work.

I had the same problem. The plugin is using PerceptiveMCAPI but this API isn't being supporting more. I have changed API to MailChimp.NET. It seems that everything works are well.

This is an old thread, but I just downloaded and installed this plugin and am installing on a 3.40 nopCommerce site.
I saw in the reviews for this plugin that it was updated by a.m: 1/25/2016 6:16 AM

I have the same problem. My Default Mailchimp list dropdown is never populated, even though I have saved the new/valid API key in the configuration. I even tried manually populating the mailchimpsettings.defaultlistidrecord in the database Settings table with my List ID, but the list dropdown is still empty when I view it in admin screen.

Can someone please confirm that this will work for older versions of nopCommerce...and if so, what could be the problem?

Maybe the updated version of this plugin for 3.40 still uses the PerceptiveMCAPI code instead of the MailChimp.NET code as mentioned in this post??
