I can't belive my luck. My last site was on A2 when that was hit and now having fully rebuilt my site on myasp (smarterasp), 6 months later, this one is dead. I fear the same as then and nothing will be restored.
I have a local backup of site files and hopefully I can retrieve an up to date DB to move to yet another host.

They updated that they have resolved the problem and are now getting servers back up in 24 hours.
It's seems that the windows platform is easily targeted and we have to pay extra for the privilege? Once nop 4.3 is out, would a move to mysql and a linux platform be benifical? It's quite a bit cheaper and as there's litterally loads of hosts to pick from, the chances of yours been hit are reduced? My understanding is it should be faster too!
I'm not a Web dev, just a self taught individual from videos, forums and trial & error, so my ideas might be woefully incorrect! Correct me if I'm wrong.
Well, after 4 days I looks like we are finally allowed to get a backup of our DB (at least the DB does not appear as offline anymore). So my question here is; is it secure to bring this DB to our new hosting (we were moving away after the unprofessional way that the Smarterasp people handled all this situation)? What should I look for in order to find if it was compromised?
