I'm looking for a workaround to accomodate the requirements of a certain project ideally without rebuilding the .dll. My store will require free shipping over a certain amount, except for products which require air shipment. My questions are: How do I require a product to be put into the role or requiring shipment by air? And is there a way to easily accomplish the following scenario?
All medications must be shipped by air, and shipping will be $30 regardless of how much people buy. Everything else will be regular ground shipping for $5.95 except if it is over $50 in which case it is never free. I don't think I can specify a $30 extra shipping cost because if they buy 2 it will be $60. I thought about entering a weight, say 200lbs (since none of my other products have a weight specified) and anything over 200 lbs would just be $30 ship regardless of the weight. But I think that negates my free shipping by order total?
Is there a way to do this that I'm not thinking of?
