1.9 to 2.0 for a newbie

I have only recently installed v1.9 via the Web Platform installer. Realized that before I start I should probably get the 2.0 version instead. Downloaded it and ran the Prepare.bat and Deploy.bat files and came up with errors. When I launch through Webmatrix and open nopCom and press run it takes me to a page that clearly states it is going to configure 1.9.

So, do I have to uninstall 1.9? Do I just delete the folder? Tried opening the solution in VS 2010 Express but I get errors there too.

Totally at a loss on how to proceed with this. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have mvc 3 installed?

I'm installing it now. Do you think this will fix the problem? Will I need to re-run the .bat files from 2.0? I am not familiar with MVC.

Thanks for replying. I already have SQL Server Express and don't really expect to develop for handhelds -- do I still need CE?
