Problems when multiple pages in admin area are open

Version 2.1
Scenario: go to admin area, "Edit product details", click on any tab and choose "Open in new window" in the browser
Result: opened in the new window page does not match the chosen tab - the default "Edit product details" tab is open instead, with the content of the product description editor "blinking".
