Images in topic in 2.x

Good day.

Sorry if this was already discussed. As I understand, in the 2.x version it is impossible to upload images during Topic text editing - it supports image urls only. Am I correct?

Is there an advanced version of the editor? How the community solves this problem?

Image uploading is already implemented and will be available in version 2.2
