I am currently running v2.1. Our registration process currently requires Admin approval so when we see a new customer register, we review, put them into specific Customer Roles, then we send them an email through the Admin Console (Path is \Customers, \Select Customer (Edit), then hit the Send email button).
I wanted to see if there was a way of embedding HTML into the email so I went to take a look at the message templates. I identied the Customer.WelcomeMessage template, and copied and pasted the body (including the html tags) into the body of the email message to the customer. However when I do that, and hit send I get the error:
The website cannot display the page and it gets routed to the following URL
http://mydomain/Admin/Customer/SendEmail/106
Has anyone come across this? Is my approach wrong?
