Show BestSellers on home page.

Is there a way where we can show the list of best sellers on the home page?

Currently there is not an automated way of doing this.

Instead what you would need to do is run the Sales report within Administration to establish which were your top selling products. Then you would need to go through each product and tick the "Show on home page" property.

These would then display on your home page.

this feature has been available at least since  v1.4


go to admin -->configuration-->global settings -->   'other' tab     you will see 'show bestsellers ..' checkbox

Can we make substitutions or force items into the bestsellers list?  Sometimes we run out of a particular bestsellers and we have substantially equivalent items that we'd like to offer, even at the better price of the best seller, but we can't figure out if/how we can do that.
