Lightbox problem using 1.9

I have modified the OneVariant template and the ProductInfo.ascx to using a shockwave flash video player IF there is a video associated with the product, otherwise it will display an image as normal....I just hide one or the other depending on what the db says is available.

The problem is when I have a video and I click on one of the images associated with the product....the lightbox comes up and it's all good. But when I close lightbox.....my video is gone. Any idea ?
