Add another section like Blog

Hi guys,
Quick question.  Are there any blogs or howtos, outlining how to add another blog section ie blog section 2.  I Need to add a section to the site and I want it to have the same functinality as the blog.  How would I go about doing this.  I realised the following;
1) create new db tables
2) update EF.
3) update model, view controls
4) update admin xml.
