Issue of redirection of www.domain.com to www.domain.com/default.aspx

Dear All,

Currenly I am having an issue with respect to SEO on my website. The issue is if in address bar I type www.domain.com then the url gets redirected to www.domain.com/default.aspx.

I am running NopCommerce 1.9.

Kindly, post your suggestions on how I can fix this issue.

IIS 6 adds default.aspx to the root URL - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1702412/iis-6-setting-to-automatically-forward-to-default-aspx

Fixed this by setting  defaultPage="" in urlrewriting config file.
