I note that recent 2.3 changeset upgraded Autofac, and all the built in plugins had their description.txt updated to only support 2.3. Are older plugins really not compatible?
They're still compatible. But it's quite hard (requires a lot of time for testing) to ensure that a plugin works in all the previous versions. That's why I just set their versions to 2.30
