Integrate the registration/login form into checkout process

I would like to integrate the registration/login page in the shopping cart checkout process. As possible?
Otherwise can i set to the registration page the destination url?

I'm also interested to have the checkout/registration process combined.
The process at the moment is way to complex and that is not good.

Looking into this later this week. Probably good to share knowledge on this ?
