Automate Tracking Number (Shipment) Population and Order as Shipped

Hi,

We are looking to automate the order proces so that once the Payment goes through (PayPal), the order is automatically populated with the FedEx tracking number and set as shipped.  Has anyone sucesfully implemented this or similar?  On a large scale, manually approving each order is not feasable.  As long as payment has processed, this should not be necessary.

Also looking for something like this but for UPS... We are going to create an export/import process for our client for UPS World Manager, but it would be better if it just used the UPS web service API's. Not sure where in the pipeline we'd code this...
