Cron Job

KeepAlive/Ping.ashx. I don't see this on my server. Is it something I have to add? Is this what I set up the cron job to ping?

KeepAlive/Ping.ashx is a nopC 1.x thing.   There is no such thing for 2.x
I recommend you set up an account with www.PingAlive.com    In addition to keeping your app alive, you will be able to see the statistics of response time, and % uptime.

If you really want to "ping" your app from the server itself, you might be able to use something like curl, but it would depend on what your host allows.
