Access control list

Hi,

I created a new customer roles with new ACL (mange catalog...), however the user cannot upload image for the product in Catalog because the system shows "User is not Admin" ??? So then, what's the purpose of giving a customer role the right to access Catalog but he has no right on uploading picture for products??

Also, i believe each module should have a permission detail of what to do, say like actions : Create/edit/delete/upload ... and limit features for each module. and related products should be on the same category, otherwise it's kind of hectic to input all these things everytime i need to create new product.
