Sales Tax exempt

Hi All

I sell goods to mostly farmers, who is sales tax exempt in this case, but sometimes I sell to others too. Here I need to charge sales tax. So - can I add an check box somewhere doing checkout, asking something like "farm related" ? And the system then charges the sales tax if the box is left unchecked ?
