1.9 To 2.0 Upgrade

Hi,
I'm looking to upgrade from 1.9 ->  (finally).
Is there any better instructions for the 1.9 to 2.0 upgrade?

I'm looking for detailed instructions on the first part:
    Steps:
    1. Backup your existing database
    2. Install nopCommerce 2.00 to your existing database (1.90).
  IMPORTANT NOTE: Install it without sample data!!!

Am I reading this right that on 2. I need to reinstall/configure as if this were a new site?  (But no sample data so it doens't blow away important data?)
