I just made a simple upgrade instructions in PDF.
I may need to refer to this... as I forget too.

Not that it is hard except, that there are way too many posts about this.

If I forgot to add anything please be kind. This takes free time.

HOW TO UPGRADE FROM 2.4 TO VERSION 2.5

1) You can use the Script OR use the MS Web Installer either one.

I attached the 2.5 code so all you need to do is copy and paste it.

you will need winzip to extract the update script which is horrible. It will try to install software of all natures hence the reason for the text script. need need for spy ware. Winzip getting as bad as Cnet!

I forgot:

Backup your DATABASE first in SQL manager!

so if you have duplicate values in tables you can easily restore!

duplicates are often found when you  upgrade more than once.

maybe a lot of these upgrade tips could be inserted into the instruction manual. it would make sense.
