Modify Recently Added Products [New Products]

Hi,

Is there any possiblity to add selected new added products / or select any product to be displayed on the new products page, my client is looking for something like a selection for a new product page like feauture poducts, so that he can select from backend of which products to be displayed on new products section , instead of showing recently added products on the new products section.

Is this type of functionality already present in nop new versions, by the way i am using nop 2.2. Or do i have to do it separately , or have any done something like this before,

Any assistance or suggestions will be appreciated.

that is possible.
u can add one column with in product table like showonhomepage.
fallow the same procedure how featured products is displayed on home page.

i am added 5 more divisions like featured products on home page
by adding columns in product table
