I upgraded from 1.80 up to 2.40 with no particular effort, bat there's a problem now: categories suffered some trouble and crash sometimes nopcomemrce.
In the test envitoment, that is specular to production, when you try to edit a category, nopcommerce crashes and shows errorpage. Running in localhost directy via desktop manager, IE traps the error and shows what you see in the bottom of the post. The same thing happens when in the home page you try to show a category that doesn't work.
Actually not all categories don't work: some do (including demos) but the most don't. Even new cats (created directy in 2.40) crash.
I gave a look at category table but appearenty there's nothing odd.
All of the above happens in the test enviroment.
In production instead appearenty everything works, but many users noticed that nopcommerce crashes when trying to open a product page or try to open the cart. This happens also when you try to impersonate the customer: logged as admin it works, impersonating some users, don't. I had to place order in thwe admin enviromet as users couldn't. In two cases when suggesting to clear cookies and emtied the cache it worked, while in onother even changing browser and pc there was nothing to do.
Do anybody have any ideas?
