When we are stepping through the one page checkout - If we get to the payment details section (we have embedded paypoint in an iframe).. if we step back to the basket - the cart has been emptied.
I am assuming this is by design... Have found an old v1.9 forum thread detailing the conversation

Has anyone found a good way of dealing with this in a different way since this version. Our client see's this as a show stopper and we are trying to decide the best way of keeping the cart full until after the payment has been confirmed as okay.
