Upgrade Nop from 1,6 to 1.9 on Go Daddy

Hi guys!
My site has vesion 1.6 and now i want to upgrade to 1.9.I am using Go Daddy
i found some article on forum but i can not upgrade!
If some one upgrade oke on Go Daddy.Please help me !
