export list of users by filter

In the admin section under customers, I can filter the list to show users by a particular role etc (in my case, I wish to list only "dealers"). but I just noticed that if I export this list to excel, it includes everyone, not just the results of the query. Is there a way I can only export by the filtered results, ie by role etc?

Have a look at the latest version. It allows you to export only selected rows (demo here)
