Extra field during checkout

I am using nopCommerce 2.6. I want to add an extra field for user where they can add delivery date during checkout. I am using this for a gift delivery site. Please let me know how i can achieve this functionality.

Hi

You can setup a checkout attribute with date picker.

You find the checkout attributes under the menu-item Catalog - Attributes in admin.

Can we filter the order in administration section by that attribute?

i want to add a notes field to be filled by customer before checkout..is there any such option available in the admin side. i'm using nopcommerce 2.6
