object reference null error after uploading images to database

I uploaded images to the database (in varbinary format) and updated the Picture and Product_Picture_Mapping tables with the relevant info. But after that, the website crashes and I get null reference error. I've followed the advice given here earlier about giving read/write permission to the images folder, but that has not worked for me.

Could you please look at this error and suggest a solution for it?

I just resolved this issue. Just listing the solution here in case anyone else runs into this sort of thing.

The application is referencing the Widget table in the database, and apparently there is some issue with the 'SevenSpikes.Nop.Plugins.AnywhereSliders' widget. I just copied the records from the Widget table into another table (to preserve the values) and deleted all records from the Widget table. That got up my site again.

I still have to fix this particular widget though. If anyone has done something similar earlier and has the solution for this, kindly post the solution here.
