Widget Zones

I created a widget in 2.6 using Widgets.LivePersonChat as a template.  Widget is working perfectly except for I only can select from 4 widget zones returned from the configuration model: right_column_before, after, left_column_before, after.  

How do I get main_column_before and after included in the drop-down list?
