Hi

We are implementing a B2B solution and we have a team of three senior developers, but they dont have experience with nopCommerce.

We'd like to have a bank of hours to discuss our options and get recommendations on the best approach.

Since its B2B, we have specific needs.

- The client is a multinational that offers multiple brands
- The products are sold by dealers and there are international distributors.  There is no self-registration of customers, they are all created by the client using a admin screen.
- Stores sell one or many brands, which means that there are multiple "catalogs" and that users need to be granted access to the catalogs using the admin screen.
- There is no payment process, the cart is opened for days while the dealer builds up is order then the cart is closed.
- upon being closed, the cart is exported to an ERP system.
- obviously there are tons of promotions, volume, buy 1 get rebate off second, etc

Our research indicates that we must modify the core of nopCommerce to achieve all ours needs.  How can this be done while keeping the possibility of upgrading to future versions.

We'd like someone with experience with version 2.6 and with a B2B solution.

Hi

I need to understand more about the domain. Which two domains would you like to bring together on a single platform?

Thanks

So, you need one site per dealer? Do you need something like this:

1. There is one shop with one database with products.
2. There are several domains, one per dealer, for example: http://www.bulgaria-ori.com and http://www.samara-ori.ru. They have the same products and design, but each of them has its own texts, news, contacts, shipping and, of course, orders list.

Is it what you are looking for?

For multiple "catalogs" and some b2b examples and other features for b2b check this
For exporting orders to ERP the best is Web Services or alikes depending on the ERP platform
Some other features that you might want to consider are:
- Shopping list or alike
- Let customers import orders into cart/shopping-list from Excel
- Clients with several users with different roles. Example: Shopper:only add to cart/shopping list; Authorizer: previous + authorize order.
- Automated import from ERP of catalog, prices, inventory, clients

Hi, I just saw your post about your B2B solution needs.    We are currently implementing a B2B solution that integrates their nopC store with their backend ERP system for a very large client in Australia....in their case it is Great Plains.....so we understand the challenges that B2B presents vs a typical B2C solution.   We also have a nopCommerce product data web service / data sync tool available that will allow you to sync your ERP system to the nopC store as needed.   We 'push' a product data sync nightly from the ERP to nopC as a windows service as well as a 'pull' process to load orders from nopC to ERP every 15 minutes as a windows service.

If you would like to talk please feel free to email me at [email protected] or skype me at nopadmin to contact me right away.

Kind Regards,
Shawn

1. Brand: Do you mean different manufacturers/ product lines?
2. Will the distributor be able to log in via an admin screen and perform any activity? If so, what would these be?
3. Is there a possibility of the distributor and store owner being the same?
4. Would the homepage show a list of stores so that users could filter down through a selected store to product range?
5. Payment process: Do you mean to say that a customer could add product to their cart and subsequently send in an enquiry? Also, will master admin or then store admin fulfill an order?
6. Which ERP are you looking at using
7. Promotions: Will the store owner or admin be able to create gift coupons and send through email for redemption?
8. Upgrades: Developing modules in nop plugin in architecture style will ensure that the application does not break down during future upgrades.

I would like to talk personally about this, it is of interest to us so if you could please get in touch through our website if of interest.

Best regards
