internet explorer 9 not adding products to cart

I haven't noticed this before but just tried on IE 9 browser that I can not add a product to my cart. I recently upgraded to 2.6 and appears to work fine in all other browsers but see internet explorer 9 isn't letting me add products.

looks like if you clear your cookies for that domain it works. scary that it doesn't happen to clients.
